Fibromyalgia and bruising: effects of an invisible disease

Does fibromyalgia cause bruising?
Some days are better than others for those with fibromyalgia. Bad days can make you feel like you’ve been hit in black and blue. The slightest contact, handshake, hug or squeeze can be agonizing, leaving you sore, painful and avoiding contact with the people you love most. A fibromyalgia victim defined it this way:

Where do these unexplained bruises come from?

How to cope
If you face easy bruises every day, there are some useful things you can do to lessen the danger of trauma to the skin and muscles. If you become entangled in extra vigorous events, wear protective clothing.
